On Sunday, November 24th the Denver Broncos play the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA. In recent years this has became a rival game between the two teams, and this years game certainly has been circled... by at least two players. In the off-season the Denver Broncos picked up Wes Welker from the New England Patriots after the Patriots didn't re-sign him. This was a major free-agent pick up by the Denver Broncos and Patriots fans have regretted letting Welker go, especially after tight end Aaron Hernandez is being held on murder chargers. Another player that has circled this game is Tim Tebow... For the better or worse, I don't think Denver Bronco fans will soon forget about Tim Tebow. After the Denver Broncos traded Tebow to the New York Jets for a bag of peanuts, you know Tim Tebow wants revenge.

The San Francisco 49ers proved way too much for the Green Bay Packers and beat them 45-31. The first Sunday game was the Seattle Seahawks vs Atlanta Falcons. In case Coach John Fox wasn't watching the Seahawks / Falcons game, NFL teams can score and win games in the last minute, it's NOT against NFL rules Coach Fox. The Hawks vs Falcons game was a crazy one, however the Atlanta Falcons won the game in the last seconds with a late game field goal. The Houston Texans proved to be no match for the New England Patriots, the Patriots beat the Texans 41-28. If the Houston Texans lose in week 17 at the Indianapolis Colts, and if the Denver Broncos beat the Kansas City Chiefs, the Denver Broncos will have home field advantage throughout the playoffs and will also have a bye the first week. If the Houston Texans beat the Colts, they'll have home field advantage and both the Texans and the Broncos will have 1st round byes. In addition, if the Texans lose, and the Patriots win, the Denver Broncos will have the 1 seed, and the Patriots will have the 2 seed. If the season ended now, the New England Patriots would play at home against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Indianapolis Colts would be at Baltimore Ravens. If you don't think the Colts or Bengals have anything to play for in week 17, you're wrong. If the Colts beat the Texans, and if the Ravens lose against the Bengals, the Colts grab the 4th seed having a home game in the 1st round. TicketsDay.com predicts in the AFC conference championship game it will be the New England Patriots at Denver Broncos, with the Denver Broncos advancing to Super Bowl XLVII.

In the NFC, it's more complicated.. If the season ended today the playoff picture would be the following.

4) Washington Redskins
5) Seattle Seahawks
6) Minnesota Vikings

So the first round would be the Minnesota Vikings at San Francisco 49ers, and the Seattle Seahawks at the Washington Redskins with the Falcons and Packers having first round byes. The Atlanta Falcons have clinched home field advantage throughout the playoffs, there's no scenario where that will change. However, if the Minnesota Vikings beat the Green Bay Packers, and the San Francisco 49ers beat the Arizona Cardinals, the 49ers will have a 1st round bye and take the 2nd seed. The Minnesota Vikings haven't clinched the playoffs, if they lose to the Packers, and if the Chicago Bears beat the Detroit Lions, the Bears will earn that 6th spot. In addition, the NFC East division isn't clinched yet, if the season ended today, the Washington Redskins would take that spot... The NFC east and the 6th seed is complex if the Vikings and the Redskins lose, so we will just let it shake out in week 17. TicketsDay.com predicts in the NFC Championship game it will be the Atlanta Falcons vs Seattle Seahawks.

RIP NHL, November 1917 to November 2012

Today the NHL announced they were ending the league. On the same day Vince McMahon announced he was starting the XHL...

Only kidding, slightly... The NHL announced today they were canceling the Winter Classic which is the NHL's Super Bowl. We here at Tickets Day believe this will lead to the NHL's second full season lockout in 8 years. With the NHL still trying to recover from it's last full season lockout in the 2004-05, this will hurt the NHL even more. Most casual fans don't even know the NHL is locked out. When the NBA and NFL had their lockouts, everyone knew, it was constantly in the news.. With this NHL lockout, not a whole lot of people know about, nor do they really care. The NHL had several years to go before they fully recovered from their last lockout.

2012-13 NBA Season

So we sit here today and the 2012-13 NBA season has kicked off. The Miami Heat stacked up 2 years ago and Lebron James has his championship ring. This season, there's one team if you looked at their starting line-up, you'd think it's the Western Conference All-Star roster for the 2013 All-star game in Houston. As much as we despise the Los Angeles Lakers, and NBA franchises building these super teams, the 2012-13 NBA Champions will be the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Lakers year in and year out are always contenders, however with the additions of Dwight Howard, and Steve Nash, it puts the Lakers at the top. Tickets Day predicts the Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat will square off in the Eastern Conference Finals with the Chicago Bulls going to the finals. The Los Angeles Lakers will square off against... Yes, the Denver Nuggets. Not to overlook teams such as the Oklahoma City Thunder, San Antonio Spurs, and the Dallas Mavericks, the Denver Nuggets will be the surprise team out of the Western Conference this year.
