The stage is set for Super Bowl XLVII and it ends up being the San Francisco 49ers vs Baltimore Ravens. The Baltimore Ravens was the surprise team to come out of the AFC, everyone (including us at TicketsDay.com ) was thinking it would be the Denver Broncos to come out of the AFC.

The Ravens beat the Indianapolis Colts in the Wild Card games, beat the Broncos in the divisional round, and beat the New England Patriots in the AFC Conference Championship game. The San Francisco 49ers beat the Green Bay Packers in the Divisional round, and beat the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Conference Championship game.

Super Bowl Tickets

The Super Bowl is almost here and TicketsDay.com has the cheapest Super Bowl Tickets. This weekend the Conference Championship games are taking place. In the NFC, it's the San Francisco 49ers vs Atlanta Falcons at the Georgia Dome. In the AFC, it's the Baltimore Ravens vs New England Patriots.

The divisional playoff games were exciting, and for us Denver fans, very disappointing. The first divisional game was the Denver Broncos vs Baltimore Ravens. The Broncos were heavy favorites, no one here in Denver thought the Ravens had a chance. However, the Denver Broncos had their worst loss since 1996 and lost in double overtime 38-35. The San Francisco 49ers proved way too much for the Green Bay Packers and beat them 45-31. The first Sunday game was the Seattle Seahawks vs Atlanta Falcons. In case Coach John Fox wasn't watching the Seahawks / Falcons game, NFL teams can score and win games in the last minute, it's NOT against NFL rules Coach Fox. The Hawks vs Falcons game was a crazy one, however the Atlanta Falcons won the game in the last seconds with a late game field goal. The Houston Texans proved to be no match for the New England Patriots, the Patriots beat the Texans 41-28. Super Bowl Tickets

Super Bowl XLVII Tickets and more !

With only one week away from the end of the 2012 NFL regular season that only means one thing... Super Bowl XLVII is close. Who is your team? Have they clinched a playoff spot? Who is your favorite to come out of the AFC and NFL ?

Six AFC teams have already clinched the playoffs.
1) Houston Texans
2) Denver Broncos
3) New England Patriots
4) Baltimore Ravens
5) Indianapolis Colts
6) Cincinnati Bengals

If the Houston Texans lose in week 17 at the Indianapolis Colts, and if the Denver Broncos beat the Kansas City Chiefs, the Denver Broncos will have home field advantage throughout the playoffs and will also have a bye the first week. If the Houston Texans beat the Colts, they'll have home field advantage and both the Texans and the Broncos will have 1st round byes. In addition, if the Texans lose, and the Patriots win, the Denver Broncos will have the 1 seed, and the Patriots will have the 2 seed. If the season ended now, the New England Patriots would play at home against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Indianapolis Colts would be at Baltimore Ravens. If you don't think the Colts or Bengals have anything to play for in week 17, you're wrong. If the Colts beat the Texans, and if the Ravens lose against the Bengals, the Colts grab the 4th seed having a home game in the 1st round. TicketsDay.com predicts in the AFC conference championship game it will be the New England Patriots at Denver Broncos, with the Denver Broncos advancing to Super Bowl XLVII.

In the NFC, it's more complicated.. If the season ended today the playoff picture would be the following.
1) Atlanta Falcons
2) Green Bay Packers
3) San Francisco 49ers
4) Washington Redskins
5) Seattle Seahawks
6) Minnesota Vikings

So the first round would be the Minnesota Vikings at San Francisco 49ers, and the Seattle Seahawks at the Washington Redskins with the Falcons and Packers having first round byes. The Atlanta Falcons have clinched home field advantage throughout the playoffs, there's no scenario where that will change. However, if the Minnesota Vikings beat the Green Bay Packers, and the San Francisco 49ers beat the Arizona Cardinals, the 49ers will have a 1st round bye and take the 2nd seed. The Minnesota Vikings haven't clinched the playoffs, if they lose to the Packers, and if the Chicago Bears beat the Detroit Lions, the Bears will earn that 6th spot. In addition, the NFC East division isn't clinched yet, if the season ended today, the Washington Redskins would take that spot... The NFC east and the 6th seed is complex if the Vikings and the Redskins lose, so we will just let it shake out in week 17. TicketsDay.com predicts in the NFC Championship game it will be the Atlanta Falcons vs Seattle Seahawks.

Tickets Day is a Denver based company, so obviously we have a bit of biased, however Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos are the NFL's hottest team winning their last 10 games. Will it be a re-match of the Super Bowl XXIII when the Denver Broncos beat the Atlanta Falcons 34 - 19 ? Who do you have?

Will there be a Manning in Super Bowl XLVII ?

Super Bowl XLVII
Mercedes-Benz Superdome , New Orleans, LA
Sunday, February 3rd 2013

With nearly half the NFL season completed, every year the topic arises, will there be a Manning in the Super Bowl? Eli Manning got his second ring in Super Bowl XLVI, and the New York Giants are off to a 6-2 start with the most impressive win coming week 6, at San Francisco 49ers with a 26-3 win. Let's now switch over to Peyton Manning... Did anyone hear about Peyton Manning in the off-season at all?? What about his 4-3 start with the Denver Broncos and his passer rating of 109, which by the way leads all QB's in the NFL... There was great debate whether Peyton Manning could return to his normal self after another neck surgery, much less ever play again. Tickets Day went to the last Denver Broncos game vs New Orleans Saints. Sure the New Orleans Saints defense isn't great, however let's give credit where it's due. Peyton torched the Saints defense with his 5th consecutive 300+ passing yard game and a 34-14 beating against the Saints in the Mile High city.

So what do you think, will there be a Manning in Super Bowl XLVII? Tickets Day predicts..
NFC Championship game: Atlanta Falcons vs New York Giants   ( Sorry 49ers fans )
AFC Championship game: Houston Texans vs Denver Broncos
