Colorado Tickets and Schedule

Well there's a lot that is going on in Colorado, so TicketsDay.com will start out with the most exciting topics.

The Denver Broncos started the season at 6-0 before going to the Indianapolis Colts and losing 39-33. They rebounded back by crushing the Washington Redskins 45-21. This weekend ( week 9 ) the Denver Broncos had a bye week which is much needed as the injuries have piled up. Also, in unfortunate news, Denver Broncos head coach John Fox is hospitalized and will have heart surgery either Monday or Tuesday and will be off the sidelines for 4-6 weeks. Jack Del Rio will be the interim head coach. The Denver Broncos are starting to get into the majority of their division schedule with a current record of 7-1.

The Colorado Avalanche is off to an awesome and surprising start with currently the best record in the NHL with already 24 points and a 12-1 record. In the off-season the major additions were former Colorado Avalanche all-start goalie Patrick Roy, and the #1 NHL draft pick Nathan Mackinnon. In the 2012-2013 season, the Avs had one of the worst NHL records, and currently have the best record in the NHL.

To less exciting news, if you're expecting the Denver Nuggets to go to the NBA Playoffs, sorry, but this won't be the Denver Nuggets year. They've started off at 0-2, and lost their home opener at the Pepsi Center to a division rival, the Portland Trail Blazers by 15 points. TicketsDay.com was in favor of firing Denver Nuggets head coach George Karl after so many talented teams being one and done in the playoffs besides their Western Conference Playoff run in 2008-09 season, however head coach Brian Shaw hasn't been impressive. Sure it's early, but don't expect much from our Denver Nuggets.

Colorado Rockies Tickets

We here at TicketsDay.com have been huge Colorado Rockies fans since the MLB announced the expansion of 2 teams in 1991, the Colorado Rockies and now the Miami Marlins. We along with many other Coloradoans have suffered painful Rockies seasons year after year. The 2013 Colorado Rockies season will be their 20th year and we have got bad news for you Rockies fans. The Colorado Rockies in the off-season didn't make any major free agent moves, and are looking at another close to 100 loss season. In the off season Jim Tracey stepped down as the Rockies skipper. Instead of the Monforts and the Rockies spending money on a skipper, they go to former high school coach and former Rockie all-star, Walt Weiss.

We here at TicketsDay.com would love to give you a longer preview on the 2013 Rockies season, but as long as the Monforts are owners, and O'Dowd is the GM of the Rockies,  there's not too much to say about our Rockies.
