Mile High City

This blog is for you Denver!

First of all, Happy Holiday's and we hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Yes, despite the beautiful 70 degree weather Colorado has had, it is the holiday season. In this blog we will catch you up on all things related to Colorado sports and upcoming concerts.

Denver Broncos - Looks like the Denver Broncos will easily run away with the AFC West division. After today's win over the Kansas City Chiefs, the Broncos improve to an 8-3 record in the AFC West division. 2nd place in the AFC West, the San Diego Chargers lost to the Baltimore Ravens in overtime with a 4-7 record. The Oakland Raiders also lost today to the Cincinnati Bengals dropping their record to 3-8. The Broncos will play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next Sunday in Denver. If you're looking for more in-depth Denver Broncos coverage check out the blog at Predominantly Orange. We realize you have ESPN, and other local sources, but when Tickets Day wants our Bronco game recaps, we turn to Predominately Orange first.

Denver Nuggets - The Nuggets are off to a decent start with a 7-6 record and are currently putting a beating on the New Orleans Hornets. However, 8 of their next 10 games are on the road starting with the Utah Jazz tomorrow night, Golden State Warriors Thursday night, followed by the Los Angeles Lakers Friday night, November 30th. For upcoming Nuggets home games, check the schedule below.

Colorado Avalanche - ..........  Do we need to say more? Besides more cancellations by the NHL, and the two sides are still far apart, there's nothing new to report, if you're hoping for a season, it's not going to happen. If you want your hockey fix, we suggest checking out the Denver Cutthroats at the Denver Coliseum , or the Colorado Eagles at the Budweiser Event Center in Loveland.

Colorado Rockies - In case you haven't heard, the Monfort brothers are aiming for 100 losses in the 2013 season, but hope to continue to draw the 30,000+ every night in attendance like they did in 2012... If you're hoping for a winning season, either check out spring training in Scottsdale, AZ, or opening day, April 5th, 2013 at Coors Field. After that, your hopes for a winning season will be burst. But hey, you can't beat cheap Colorado Rockies tickets from Tickets Day, a warm summer night with a couple beers, and a hot dog at Coors Field. As long as the Monforts are owners, and Dan O'Dowd is the Rockies General Manager, we won't see another Rocktober, we'd be lucky to see another winning season.
